‘Hands of Pluis’ at the All Hands On Deck C2A Summer Fest (photo’s & video)

3 augustus 2022

They attracted lots of attention: the enormous blue hands made of dolly rope. And they were the centerpiece of our summer festival.

We knew that this traveling artwork would attract lots of attention. These blue hands, made by artist Kianoosh Gerami, draw attention to the plastic problem of ‘dolly rope’; the blue pieces attached to fish nets that have to protect the bottom of the net from abrasion and wear. We have the same goal: to work towards a cleaner and more sustainable world. That’s why we invited Kianoosh and the the initiators of the Pluis Hands On Tour, Stichting View, at our All Hands On Deck C2A Summer Festival.

Together with many more likeminded peers, volunteers and friends we gathered to get all hands on deck: we exchanged all our little experiments and discoveries to inspire each other to take your own steps towards that cleaner world.

Couldn’t make it? Check out the video and check the pictures of the day!
