The Ecovlet of waste plastic is a big hit! At the official launch and the maiden trip, we were accompanied by the mayor of Hoorn.
‘Our’ lelievlet (boat of the waterscouts) of waste plastic has become a sustainable showpiece for the Dutch National Scouting Association. The ‘Ecovlet’ that Edwin built together with the waterscouts in Hoorn, has been visited by her majesty the queen Maxima, but now also by our own mayor of Hoorn, Jan Nieuwenburg. Because… as a little boy, Jan was a waterscout himself and learned how to sail in this lelievlet! How does this one sail, mayor? Check out the video shot by Puur Hoorn:
