We’ve started a crazy experiment! We are building a 17th century Dutch ‘fluitschip’ in a historical way, but entirely from waste plastic. A ship to sail the world's seas for fair trade. An uncomfortable adventure that reverses beliefs and habitual behavior to accelerate our way towards a sustainable and inclusive world.

Clean2Antarctica
How did it all begin? Edwin and Liesbeth drove in a self-built car, in the core 3d-printed from waste plastic and powered by solar energy, towards the geographic South Pole. To inspire others to live sustainably. Three years with many ups and downs.

Urban miners
One of the most remarkable contributions to our mission is that of our urban miners. Because urban miners save our plastic waste from the incinerator. An act of heroism for which they receive an honorable mention.

Because our ship yard hosts a potpourri of people and we constantly conduct experiments, volunteers keep making new discoveries. In this way they learn to look at their habitual behavior in a different way. That’s how the most creative things arise!
Our projects are a chance for young people to come back to society and do something good for the world at the same time. By building ships, they return waste plastic to the world in a good way and turn it into something tangible and valuable. With their own bare hands. And this creates confidence.
